Rachel: The Grimy Socialite Collection

Last week my friend Alan was nice enough to loan me a set of Alien Bees strobe lights. I do not have much experience with studio lights, but was excited to start playing around with them and get my lovely girlfriend to model. The idea for this set of images was to blow out the background and create some very simple portraits that portray a sort of grimy socialite look. The processing was done in Aperture 3 and is mostly a preset that I previously created, with some minor adjustments.
